Jul 28, 2022
Toronto,Canada - July 28, 2022 /PressCable/ —
The innovative and interactive social map app is targeted especially at newcomers, expats, international students, college students, and tourists. Its easy-to-use and seamless interface will show users happenings in the city, connecting them with exclusive deals and events in neighborhoods like King Street West.
More details can be found at https://ootsocial.com
The Beta version of the app will be launched in August in time for the peak of the city’s summer social calendar. This makes it ideal for students who will be arriving to commence their studies at the University of Toronto (better known by locals as UofT), Ryerson University, TMU or George Brown College.
OOt Social’s live map function will cover iconic college neighborhoods such as King Street West. Formerly an industrial part of Toronto, today the district is one of the city’s buzziest. It is home to the city’s most thriving nightlife and is packed with trendy nightclubs, live music venues, bars, lounges, rooftop patios and restaurants.
When users are logged in, they will be able to see events that are being held at these venues, as well as at the events that are taking place at up-and-coming and established social hubs around the city. They will also be given access to exclusive deals and discounts at some of these places.
More than just a venue directory, in conjunction with its core social map functionality, the app also connects users to a thriving space of local meetups and community groups.
Whether a user is a night owl, a film lover or a passionate vegan, OOt Social has over 80 communities of interest in Toronto devoted to music and entertainment, lifestyle and culture, food and cuisine, and sports and gaming.
OOt Social understands that coming to a new city can be incredibly thrilling but also challenging—especially if one is moving from somewhere across the globe. That’s why they are proud to be offering the future of social connection, making it easier to discover all of Toronto’s coolest hangs and its most dynamic crowds.
A spokesperson for the social map app said, “OOt shows you the social world around you. Join one of our communities of interest and see where they’re hanging out, instantly. Whether you’re looking to find new communities or incredible deals, OOt puts the best experiences your city has to offer at your fingertips.”
