TextBetter Designated as a Campaign Service Provider
Apr 8, 2021
TextBetter, Inc., one of the leading providers of business text messaging services, announced today that it has been approved by The Campaign Registry as a Campaign Service Provider (CSP).
As an approved CSP, TextBetter can register its clients and their associated campaigns, ensuring customers' text messages will not be blocked by the wireless carriers or treated as spam.
The Campaign Registry works with North American mobile operators and companies in the messaging business to register Application-to-Person (A2P) text messaging Campaigns. The Campaign Registry supports a sanctioned A2P 10DLC text messaging Campaign ecosystem and provides visibility into the messaging source and content, allowing mobile carriers to deliver a more reliable and simple messaging service for CSPs and brands, helping to eliminate unauthorized and spam messages.
Basically, any text-enabled landline number that wants to send text messages to a wireless telephone number must now be registered. "We are pleased to be a part of the solution helping eliminate spam text messages while positioning TextBetter so it can directly impact our customers' valid text messages, ensuring they reach their target audience. Our status as a CSP allows us to directly register our customers' campaigns, ensuring the best possible outcomes."
TextBetter joins The Campaign Registry, ensuring transparency and legitimacy of 10 Digit Long Code (10DLC) business text messages.
Campaign registration is a new requirement effective June 1, 2021, for all SMS users.
