The popular London clinic has an expanded team of dedicated GPs and a new practice manager and will open for longer in the evenings and at the weekends for convenience.
London, England, United Kingdom - September 26, 2023 —

Sloane Street Surgery, a renowned private GP practice in London with over 75 years of excellence in healthcare, is excited to announce a period of significant growth and a series of improvements aimed at enhancing patient care and experience. The clinic has made several changes, including bolstering its team of dedicated doctors, taking them to eight associate GPs, and working alongside our four esteemed partners.
“Our commitment to providing personalised care remains unwavering – patients will always see one of our doctors,” the practice explains. “No locums here. This expansion ensures that our patients can be seen promptly and receive the best possible care.”
Sarah Harrison has taken the helm as Practice Manager to drive further improvement. She has an extensive background in managing GP practices and hospital operations within the NHS and private sector.
“Her leadership is instrumental in ensuring the seamless functioning of our practice and the well-being of our dedicated staff. Sarah's wealth of experience will help us maintain the highest standards of patient care,” the practice says.
Opening hours will also increase in length. “We are thrilled to introduce significantly extended opening hours that will greatly benefit our patients,” reports the practice. “In recognition of the demands of modern life and the need for flexible appointment times, Sloane Street Surgery is now open on weekday evenings and weekends.”
The new hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM until 8:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Phone lines open at 8:30 AM onwards.
These extended hours underscore the practice’s dedication to making healthcare accessible when patients need it most, outside of work and other commitments.
Given its commitment to patients’ well-being beyond regular hours, the practice is also pleased to introduce an out-of-hours doctor on call to address any urgent medical concerns that may arise outside standard operating hours. Patient health is the priority, so the clinic wants to ensure patients can benefit from services at any time.
Communication is also paramount. “We provide expert advice without confusing jargon, offering support, guidance, expert clinical diagnoses, and referrals to leading specialists. Our dedicated team of private GPs is always striving for excellence, staying abreast of the latest medical advances to deliver the very best healthcare,” the practice says. “Sloane Street Surgery remains committed to patient health and well-being, and these improvements are a testament to that commitment.”
With these changes, Sloane Street Surgery has earned a reputation for excellence, innovation, commitment to patient well-being, and discretion. Most of its patients come from personal recommendations spanning family generations.
