Roland LEC2 S Series Printer Delivers On Quality & Versatility

April 13, 2023 - /PressAdvantage/ - Signmaster Systems, a UK based supplier of printers and printer-related items, would like to comment on the Roland LEC2 S-Series printer’s recent rise in popularity. The Roland LEC2 S-Series is an easy-to-use printer that produces high quality prints and enables the user to do more with less.

According to the company, the printer can print direct to substrate, meaning it can print directly on a range of materials, including Foamex, acrylic, aluminium composite, card, wood and more. It allows the user to print onto a much wider range of products than other printers, in fact, and Signmaster has seen the printer being used for a diverse range of applications. This is due to its 200mm max media thickness and the fact that the printer is available in both flatbed and belt models.

One of the things that make the Roland LEC2 so popular is the fact that it is so accessible. Signmaster says in a review of the LEC2, “It’s perfect for new users and experienced users. Almost anybody can use it! This is due to how easy the machine controls are and also how easy the software is to use. Yet it’s powerful enough to be used in a production setting. It’s familiar and easy to use, due to it using the same menu system and the same Versaworks RIP as all the other Roland machines, if you have used any Roland machine in the past you can use this machine too, no complicated menus and RIP to re-learn here!”

They add, “It’s also the perfect choice for when space can be tight. It has a small footprint as far as UV flatbeds go, much less than other similar machines making it less intrusive and doesn’t take up all your print room space, which let’s face it is a huge plus as space is usually a premium in a production environment nowadays.”

The Roland LEC2 is just one of the many high-end printers available at Signmaster Systems. While the product may be very popular due to its versatility and ease of use, Signmaster Systems has a wide range of alternatives from top brands like Roland and Mimaki. The company is considered by many to be the only source necessary for everything from new hardware to inks and media.
