LA fashion designer Ripley Rader has launched her much-anticipated Fall/Winter 2020 (FW20) collection. This new launch marks the designer’s return to selling women’s contemporary clothing nationwide after devoting months to other projects, including her “look good, do good” mask campaign (partnering with “When We All Vote”).
Since being founded in 2014, the Ripley Rader brand has been dedicated to producing quality clothing made ethically in Los Angeles, working closely with local businesses in the process. A modern pioneer of iconic jumpsuits and wide-leg pants, Ripley Rader has been featured in Forbes, Vogue, and LA magazine, and has gathered a loyal following of style influencers and celebrities including Amy Schumer, Gigi Hadid, and Kate Upton.
A timeless, curated, and comfortable collection
The new FW20 collection is full of timeless pieces to wear year after year. It borrows looks from Ripley Rader’s iconic Essentials collection combined with fresh pops of color, rich and warm fall tones, and additional new styles – all to help you feel as good as they look. “Simplification was key for me in curating this collection,’ says Ripley. “It’s strong and comfortable, chic and effortless. This collection is perfect for home and away.”
The FW20 collection features the bestselling styles and silhouettes for which Ripley Rader is known. The wide-leg pants, soft turtlenecks, and brilliant blazers work together to make a modern pantsuit for contemporary women. What’s more, soft Ponte knit fabric plays a starring role in this collection so that you can keep warm and cozy, embracing the need for stylish clothing that’s also comfortable, wrinkle-free, and practical.
Empowering women through apparel
Ripley Rader’s FW20 collection is inspired by (s)heroes, and it aims to provide a way for modern women to stay classy yet comfortable throughout the colder months. Even if you’re quarantined and working from home, you deserve to look and feel your best while also enjoying cozy vibes. Ripley loves nothing more than helping women to see their full worth, and uses her role as a fashion designer to empower them. She says, “I’m passionate about making clothes for women that allow them to stand out – to feel strong, full of themselves, and ridiculously confident.”
Ripley’s dedication to making all women feel fabulous is reflected in her brand’s inclusive sizing; her collections are created with a wide range of body shapes in mind so that you can feel confident and beautiful no matter your body type. Her most recent passion project is Camp Rocky Road – a confidence-boosting camp for teen girls – and a range of empowerment shirts that help fund this venture. The camp and shirts are there to remind women that it’s ok to recognize you look great, and to encourage you to give yourself permission to speak positively about you and your body.
