Supporting military spouses and families, together.

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. - January 10, 2022 - (Newswire.com)

R. Riveter, the American-made handbag company that supports military spouses and families, is excited to announce the eagerly anticipated partnership with the American Legion Auxiliary. The partnership brings R. Riveter together with the American Legion Auxiliary to celebrate those veterans and families who have served and come before us by honoring their stories through unique products that are handmade by military spouses.

To support the American Legion Auxiliary's commitment to pay perpetual respect for all past military sacrifices to ensure they are never forgotten by new generations, R. Riveter is crafting one-of-a-kind bags made from recycled military material, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the American Legion Auxiliary. With the ambition of memorializing the selfless service of America's bravest, R. Riveter and the American Legion Auxiliary celebrate all who contribute to something larger than themselves and inspire others to serve and strengthen America.

The partnership will celebrate the military through a series of one-of-a-kind auction items that tell the stories of those veterans and families who have come before us. The auctions will be hosted on Instagram and promoted on both Facebook and email. The entire proceeds of the auctions will go directly to the American Legion Auxiliary.

"As a company founded by women, we owe it to those who came before us, and those who will come after, to continue acting as positive agents of change. Our calling is to provide steady income opportunities that can provide ease of mind for our military spouses and help them be as focused as possible on their mission at hand. R. Riveter is certainly focused on its mission and it's one we share with the American Legion Auxiliary. Together, we can continue to build each other up. I can do it. You can do it. We can do it."

-Lisa Bradley, Co-founder & CEO of R. Riveter

"Partnering with R. Riveter brings feelings of excitement, nostalgia, and pride for American Legion Auxiliary members in honoring those who wear the uniform today, those who did in yesteryear, and those who've gone before us. These unique bags, coupled with R. Riveter's empowerment of military spouses, is a perfect fit for the ALA's long history of supporting veterans, military, and their families."

— Kelly Circle, Ph.D., J.D., Executive Director, American Legion Auxiliary National Headquarters
