My Voyage Scotland is pleased to announce the newly launched website that features guides to local areas in Scotland. Unlike many other guides, written by people overseas who have little experience of the hidden gems this country has to offer those passing through, this site is created and enhanced by the experiences of Graham and other writers with a more-than-passing knowledge of the country. Over the past quarter-century, Graham has travelled the length and breadth of the country on camping overnighters, hillwalking adventures, road trips and random getaways. During this time he has accumulated an intimate knowledge of Scotland.
This website aims to bring adventure seekers, armchair travellers and tour planners hyper-localised information that helps cut through the noise and get to the heart of what truly makes Scotland a magic place. The content is varied from the background of pet-lovers hero known as Greyfriars Bobby, a must-see on visits to Edinburgh to appropriate attire for travelling in the country, for men and women. This is alongside the local guide content.

One of the destinations which are currently available includes Elgin, the world-renowned whiskey region of Scotland. Visitors can enjoy its local distilleries, as well as its breath-taking scenery. The picturesque town of Elgin lies on the south coast of the Moray Firth between Inverness and Aberdeen. More about the activities and events that happen in Elgin are available by reading the complete guide to Elgin. This guide looks at things to do in Elgin as well as hotels in Elgin.
Graham Grieve has this to say about the things to do in Elgin, “This part of Northern Scotland has a lot to offer its visitors. Tourists come here to explore and to enjoy everything from the town’s castle to its cathedral and its famous cashmere boutiques.”
Some of the most visited guides feature up and coming destinations, outwith the standard Glen Coe, Glasgow, Skye and Edinburgh that tourists regularly visit. “The most popular guide is the guide to Ballater, followed closely by Linlithgow and Ullapool. All of these locations are a bit off the beaten track. I think people are keen to explore more of Glasgow outwith the mainstream spots but don’t really know where to start. That is the gap in the content market we are trying to plug with My Voyage Scotland”.
