Orange, California Mar 8, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Mary's Kitchen has less than three months before vacating the place they call home on the account of the City of Orange's campaign to wrongfully terminate their history-long lease agreement before it was due to expire. To help continue providing the needed care to the local homeless community, Mary's Kitchen has launched a new website which can be accessed at www.maryskitchen.org.
This new interactive website will be the new primary tool where citizens can get fast and accurate information about Mary's Kitchen including updates on the current legal battle. It will also serve as the hub for immediate needs like volunteers and fundraising.
The new website has a sleek new design making it more user-friendly for everyone and by adding more than aesthetics, the site provides a better experience for users and donors alike. Among those features is a new portal making it easier to schedule volunteer days and hours for those interested in helping to feed over 200 meals within the community daily. We've also made it easier to get information through the News section and offer users better organizational contact options. Businesses, government agencies, and groups can now interact with us better and join in our mission to serve a homeless community at risk of losing the only organization that provides mail delivery, access to showers, laundry assistance, clothing, partner resources, and many other essential services.
"We are calling on the public, citizens of California, surrounding communities, and cities alike to help Mary's Kitchen on this campaign towards a new facility that provides crucial services to a growing homeless population in Orange County" says Gloria Suess, long time director of Mary's Kitchen. We encourage new users to learn more about Mary's Kitchen by visiting our website and interacting with us through social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, or in person at 517 W Struck Ave, Orange, CA 92867.
