The Green Organic Dutchman (TSX: TGOD) (OTC: TGODF), a leading producer of premium certified organically grown cannabis, has announced select preliminary unaudited numbers for the second quarter of 2021. The company reached $11.7 million in gross revenue during the period, which is an increase of 30% over the prior quarter and an increase of 143% year over year. The company also noted that Canadian sales had increased by 55%, totaling $10.3 million during the same period. In addition, TGODF has added a new position to its senior leadership team to support and accelerate the company’s growth. Gayle Duncan has joined the company as chief growth officer. In that role she will focus on increasing brand awareness across North America as well as continuing to increase sales and marketing capabilities. “The relaunch of our premium flower with the implementation of CleanCraft is being well received by the market,” said The Green Organic Dutchman CEO Sean Bovingdon. “Combined with the national rollout of Organic Sugar Bush and the reopening of retail stores in key markets, it has contributed to a strong second quarter. With the addition of Gayle, a seasoned marketer and proven sales growth enabler, I have even greater confidence in our ability to continue to deliver against our objectives.”
