ICAN California Abilities Network Strives to Eliminate Barriers for Disabled People With Its Hiring Services

Today, under Scott Elliot's leadership, ICAN California Abilities Network has grown to a non-profit organization that brings individuals with disabilities together and provides them with the necessary resources to gain financial independence and reach their fullest potential.

Programs developed by ICAN ensure all individuals have access to the same job opportunities in both public and private businesses. From providing job skills training, career development assistance, and recreational activities to advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities, ICAN’s support has ignited self-confidence and an enhanced sense of “community belonging” to its people. Furthermore, ICAN provides resources for employers on how to accommodate applicants with disabilities better and provide a safe workplace environment for them.
