The brand is shifting from sealed LED fixtures toward systems with replaceable G4 and MR16 bulbs, compatible low-voltage components and maintenance options for homeowners.
Hong Kong, October 21, 2026 /MarketersMEDIA/ -- HIBOITEC, a low-voltage landscape lighting brand for DIY homeowners, is introducing path lights and spotlights with standard replaceable bulbs as it shifts toward systems that homeowners can maintain and expand.
Founded in 2019, HIBOITEC sold sealed, integrated-LED fixtures for about five years. It began phasing out plastic-housed products in 2024 and commissioned its own fixture molds in 2025. The resulting designs allow access to the bulb while keeping the fixture installed.

The approach centers on three priorities: replaceable bulbs, expandable systems and maintenance homeowners can perform themselves.
On designated models, homeowners can change a bulb without pulling the stake or rewiring the fixture. Path lights use G4 bulbs, while spotlights use MR16 bulbs. Replacement bulbs must match each model’s specifications; compatible alternatives can change light color or beam spread.
The lights can join an existing low-voltage landscape lighting system when the power supply, total load and wiring are compatible. HIBOITEC also supplies transformers and landscape wire, with sizing guidance that recommends keeping the total load below 80 percent of the transformer’s rating.
The range includes China Hat and Pagoda path lights with 3-watt, 2700K G4 bulbs, and a spotlight with a 5-watt, 2700K MR16 bulb and a 36-degree beam as supplied. Each light includes a bulb, stake and connector. The landscape transformer and main cable are sold separately.
The die-cast aluminum housings have a powder coating 70–100 microns thick. HIBOITEC reports 500 hours of internal salt-spray testing. Aluminum fixtures carry a 10-year warranty, including coastal installations, with the same terms for residential and commercial use. Transformers and landscape wire also carry 10-year coverage; bulbs sold by HIBOITEC and connectors have one-year coverage. All coverage is subject to the company’s warranty policy.
Deck, in-ground, hardscape and pond lights currently use integrated LEDs. HIBOITEC plans to adapt these models for standard replaceable bulbs as tooling allows. Individual product pages identify the light source used.
Products are available at hiboitec.com and ship from U.S. warehouses. Editors can request test systems, teardown photographs, installation information and the salt-spray test report at [email protected]
