First look at the DMV’s newest Indie Record Label and Music Distributor, SYCE.ME

Realising his High School bedroom beats dreams, Lance Matthews aka SYCE Lance founded Sending You Creative Entertainment (SYCE) initially as a space for artists to hone their craft, by providing a bi-weekly platform to perform live. Today, SYCE has grown into a fully fledged label and music distributor, and Lance is amongst the American Association for Independent Musician (A2IM) inaugural group of Black Independent Music Accelerator (BIMA) program fellows.
When SYCE decided they needed to do more for the artists performing at “the SYCE series,” the necessary time and actions were taken to rebrand as an Independent Record Label capable of servicing artists, managers, and labels with music distribution, digital marketing, publishing, music production, and other studio services.

The most recent projects SYCE has been working on is the YouTube video playlist “SYCE.ME Presents:” as well as the “SYCE.ME Bag Music” and “SYCE.ME Heart and Soul” playlist on all major streaming platforms which showcases some of the artists and projects in which SYCE was involved. All of the songs on the playlists feature up and coming DMV talent and recorded, mixed, mastered, or produced by “SYCE Lance”.
SYCE is currently in the process of re-launching “the SYCE series” showcase series with a mainstream focus and video component in fall 2021. SYCE is currently growing their brand, onboarding interns, and signing artists and producers, and intends on being a viable Independent Record Label in the mainstream recording industry, representing the DMV.
