Instead of throwing out those old and worn pieces of furniture, give them a new look and life by using chalk paint. This method has been popular over the past 20 years and continues to be a trend in home decor. There are many brands of chalk paint available, but none with the flexibility and economy of Dover’s.

Usually a large container of chalk paint must be bought in order to start a project. Buy Dover’s Chalk Finish Paint Mix and the problem of quantity is solved. Choose the amount needed, whether a cup, quart, or gallon, and add the mix to any flat latex or acrylic paint. Use up a leftover can of paint instead of buying more than is needed. Choose any color to make into chalk paint. Sanding or priming beforehand is not required. Just paint onto a clean surface and a smooth finish is produced.

Dover’s Chalk Paint Wax Chalk can be applied after a paint coat, or on its own. The wax is available in clear or dark brown. Use separately or mix together for varying shades of brown for antiquing or accenting furniture. It applies easily over all types of chalk paints and dries to a satiny sheen. Walnut oil, carnauba oil, and beeswax are the main ingredients. An all-natural blend produces a pleasant smell and brushes are easily cleaned with soap and water.

Speaking of brushes, Dover’s brand carries two sizes of brush for any small or large chalk paint project. A medium flat oval head or large rounded oval head are available. Both brushes are made of natural boar hair bristles and set in an epoxy rustproof band for maximum bristle retention. A contoured wooden handle is comfortable and well-balanced in the hand for smooth application. The bristles hold maximum coverage and minimal brush marks on furniture surfaces.

All Dover’s Chalk Paint Products have a 100% money back guarantee. Buy three or more Dover’s products on Amazon and save 15% on the entire order. Before starting the next DIY project, make sure to be prepared with the best quality brushes, paints, and waxes to make the project stand out from the crowd.
