Brow Daddy Back on Home Turf in Las Vegas for Permanent Makeup Class

Permanent makeup artist Brow Daddy, a.k.a. Ruben Kasper, is giving students in his hometown of Las Vegas an opportunity to learn his signature Ombré Powdered Brow technique. After teaching classes on the road, he is happy to teach a class at home.

Permanent makeup artist Brow Daddy, a.k.a. Ruben Kasper, is on home turf for his next sold out Ombré Powdered Brow class at the Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas on November 11. After being on the road teaching classes over the past few months all over North America, Europe and Australia, Brow Daddy says he is happy to be able to teach a class in his hometown.

The training starts at noon with some theory and a Q&A so all participants will have an opportunity to clear up any questions they have. Brow Daddy will then present a pre-recorded demonstration and after a break, students will be able to try the technique themselves on real pig skin, which is the next best thing to practicing on a live model.

As the class is an advanced learning class, participants will have a background in microblading and other forms of permanent makeup. This class is ideal for anyone already involved in the beauty industry, particularly if they are working with brows and lashes.

All participants receive a kit with the same permanent makeup application machine that Brow Daddy himself uses on his clients. The kit also includes pigments and other items to help students get started on doing their own Ombré Powdered Brows for their clients. Students will receive a Brow Daddy certificate of completion after the class.

Brow Daddy says he’s happy to be able to offer a class in his hometown again.

“Being on the road with the class over the past few months was fun, but of course it’s always good to be able to go home after teaching a class instead of having to board a flight or stay at a hotel,” Brow Daddy said. “Being able to teach a class at the Waldorf Astoria is also great. It’s a classy and exhilarating learning environment for students.”

Brow Daddy chooses to use pig skin in his classes, he says, because it approximates human skin well during the application of permanent makeup. Students are able to get a good feel for how deep the pigment has to go and how it will look on a real person.

The Ombré Powdered Brow permanent makeup technique does not expand or distort once it is completed, meaning it looks the same as the day it’s done, which is not always the case with other permanent makeup techniques, Brow Daddy notes.
