BD Plast Filtering Systems: strategic partner in sustainability

Saint Agostino, Ferrara Apr 18, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - In the world of plastics, in order to create circular systems and maximize efficiency in the use of resources, a fundamental role is played by filtration systems, fundamental components in the extrusion and regeneration lines of polymeric materials, on which the quality depends of the final product and the efficiency of the whole process.

For BD Plast, an Italian company that produces filters, screen changers and components for extrusion, sustainability is not just a commitment, but a business choice.

The very nature of their products, aimed at recycling and minimizing production waste, puts the company at the forefront of cost containment, energy saving and environmental protection: objectives that the market today imposes on companies in an increasingly urgent.

Since its origins, recycling has been at the center of the company mission.

This entrepreneurial choice has its roots way back in 1948 when the "Rimorchi Boicelli" was born, a company specialized in the recovery of wartime materials and their transformation into agricultural trailers.

Since then, the company has evolved, changing its name to BD Plast Filter System and going from a small Italian company to a strategic partner of important manufacturers of extrusion systems all over the world.

BD Plast has always been at the forefront in supporting companies in the polymer extrusion supply chain in implementing sustainable development solutions, supplying plant manufacturers and plastics processors all over the world with a vast range of products: manual screen changers, static filters, hydraulic screen changers, extrusion components, continuous flow screen changers and accessories (hydraulic power units, undercarriage supports, elastomer systems, hydraulic die changers).

Today this offer is enriched by CleanChanger®, the new automatic and continuous self-cleaning hydraulic screen changer with three plates, which provides autonomous operation and minimise waste, enabling the reuse of 100% of the material. This product is a particularly innovative solution that encompasses years of R&D, to be recently patented.
