Robert Freeman, a published author, Steinway artist, and an accomplished academic in the music field, has completed his new audiobook "Woof! A Love Story of Dogs, Music, and Life": a heartwarming reflection on a lifetime of happiness shared with his wife, Carol, and the four-legged family members who brought so much joy to their years together.
Robert Freeman is a Harvard summa and a Princeton Ph.D. Throughout his forty-two years of marriage to his wife, Carol, he has been the proud master of seventeen dogs—eleven of them golden retrievers, six of them American dogs. Having made tenure at MIT, he directed the Eastman School of Music for twenty-four years, presided over the New England Conservatory for three, and served as dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Texas at Austin for seven. This book discusses the joys of pet ownership along with the responsibilities that should accrue to those who take on that responsibility.
Published by Audiobook Network, author Robert Freeman's new audiobook is a must-listen for anyone who has ever shared their life with a dog.
Listeners can purchase the audiobook edition of "Woof! A Love Story of Dogs, Music, and Life" by Robert Freeman through Audible, the Apple iTunes Store, or Amazon.
Audiobooks are the fastest-growing segment in the digital publishing industry. According to The Infinite Dial 2019, 50% of Americans age 12 and older have listened to an audiobook. This huge growth can be partly attributed to increased listening in cars, which surpassed the home as the #1 audiobook listening location in the 2019 survey. Smart speaker proliferation also bodes well for future listening growth and more mainstream listening.
