The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental global entity with a membership of 165 national standards bodies. ISO/IEC 27001 is the international standard recognized for managing risks to the security of information published by ISO and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). ISO/IEC 27001:2013 specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system within the context of the organization. It also includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of the organization.
"We are extremely proud to receive the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification — it confirms our robust data security practices and underscores ASI's unparalleled commitment to information security," said Mark Breland, ASI's Senior Director of Technology and Information Security. "We know of no other competitors that have achieved this distinction. This certification recognizes that ASI's information security management system is a professional, standardized, and rational risk management approach that reduces the probability of unrecognized threats or vulnerabilities to ASI's Cloud and CloudPlus hosted clients and those using iMIS EMS."
iMIS EMS is the world's only Engagement Management System (EMS)™ — fusing database management and web publishing into a single system — leading to operational efficiencies, revenue growth, and continuous performance improvement. Harnessing the power of Microsoft Azure's cloud platform, iMIS EMS is purpose-built to increase Engagement, one of the most important challenges facing associations and non-profits today.
